This week, we’re in Berlin with chef René Frank, founder of CODA. His restaurant holds two Michelin stars and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most original dining experiences, with a menu inspired by desserts and pastry. Most recently, René was named The World’s Best Pastry Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and Best Pastry Chef by The Best Chef Awards.

Below, the local chef shares his favorite restaurants in Berlin, the places he recommends to visiting chefs, his favorite wine bars, where to find the city’s best sweets and pastries, and more.

A Google Map with all of the recommendations is provided at the end of the interview.
