This week, we’re in Sorrento with one of the Amalfi Coast’s leading chefs, Antonino Montefusco, Executive Chef of Michelin-starred Terrazza Bosquet at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria.
Montefusco trained in Italy’s leading restaurants, including Rome’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant, La Pergola, where he helped earn its third star. In 2016, he returned home to Sorrento and has been since leading the kitchen at Terrazza Bosquet.
In this edition, Antonino shares:
The two restaurants you can’t miss, from a 1947 seafood trattoria on the water to his favorite spaghetti alla Nerano, the peninsula’s famous zucchini pasta
The best pastries, gelato, sunset aperitivo and lemoncilo on the coast
A family dairy farm most visitors never find, what to bring home and more
A quick planning note: If you’re also visiting Capri or Positano, see my editions on Capri and Positano.
A Google Map with all of the locations mentioned is provided at the end of this interview.
